Ruth Langsford, the Loose Women anchor, has confessed to feeling a ‘bit manic’ in a recent behind-the-scenes video.
She candidly admitted that she ‘looks horrific’ after only four hours of sleep.
The 64 year old TV veteran was gearing up for her second day in a row at QVC, where she was set to present and sell her TSV coat range.
In addition to her ITV hosting duties, Ruth often graces the shopping channel with her various collections.
She ended the night with a glamorous boomerang video on her Instagram story from an elevator, following her late-night show presentation until the early morning hours.
A few hours later, Ruth shared another video, still in the same outfit and makeup-free after a brief nap.
In the clip, she couldn’t contain her excitement, exclaiming: “Morning! So here I am back at QVC. The same morning through, [feeling] great, four hours of sleep, but anyway, it’s fine. I didn’t sleep see, here I am back for four hours. I’m on at 11am o’clock with Pippa, better go get on with it! ” Before going live, the former This Morning presenter gave her fans a sneak peek into her preparation process. She entered the green room at the West London HQ, treating herself to a breakfast M&S smoothie and a banana.
Finally, she was seen in the makeup chair, surrounded by her glam squad.
Ruth, who recently split from Eamonn Holmes, was caught on camera as she inspected her reflection and addressed her assistant, Maurice, who was recording the unfolding scene.
She shared: “So this is where the magic happens. I’ve come in as you saw, looking horrific this morning, [after] three and a half hours sleep.”
“These are the miracle workers that transform me to a human being again.”
