Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has played Fiz Brown in the ITV soap since 2021 and has been through more than her fair share of drama in Weatherfield
Coronation Street’s Fiz Brown, played by Jennie McAlpine, has been a mainstay on the soap since 2021, enduring her fair share of drama.
Currently, she’s grappling with her husband Tyrone Dobbs ( Alan Halsall ) having a child with Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu), the woman he left her for in 2021. However, eagle-eyed viewers have spotted McAlpine in an Emmerdale throwback from years ago. The actress first appeared on screen in the Yorkshire-based series, a year before landing her role as Fiz on Coronation Street.
Coronation Street’s Jennie McAlpine played Michelle Morley in Emmerdale.
During her brief stint on Emmerdale, McAlpine played Michelle Morley for three episodes, a school friend of troubled teen Ollie Reynolds (Vicky Binns), who later starred as Tyrone’s first wife Mollie on Coronation Street.
In her debut Emmerdale episode, McAlpine’s character is seen on a camping trip with Ollie and their classmates, led by Ashley Thomas (John Middleton) and Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles).
Since her departure from Emmerdale, McAlpine has exclusively appeared in Coronation Street, as per her IMDb profile.

Her character Fiz was notably absent for a few months earlier this year when she temporarily moved to Norfolk to manage another factory.
This storyline was introduced because McAlpine gave birth to her daughter Doris, her third child with husband Chris Farr, joining siblings Albert and Hilda.
