General Hospital spoilers tease that before Ava Jerome (Maura West) moved in with Sonny Corinthos (Maura West) for safety reasons, she was on the road to becoming a better person. She had formed a solid friendship with several Port Charles residents including Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and to an extent, Laura Collins (Genie Francis). But in recent months, all of her progress has been tossed aside.

Once Ava learned that someone has switched Sonny’s bi-polar medication with one quarter on the prescribed dosage, she made it her mission to manipulate the undermedicated mobster, until he turned on her.

Then she blackmailed Sonny’s pharmacist to replace medication completely with placebos. In the process she ruined her friendship with Nina, although recently there were signs that they might eventually reconcile.

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Is Being Forced To Lie!

During a recent altercation in Ava’s hotel room, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was terribly injured and lost the baby she was carrying.

Although Ava was initially arrested for manslaughter, FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) convinced Ava to lie and tell authorities that Kristina came to her room with the intention of murdering her.

Even though that isn’t what happened, Ava went along with the lie and has now been taken into protective custody. There’s every possibility that Cates will try to kill Ava, but she will likely get away and reveal the truth to police.

But Ava will still be hated in Port Charles for all the terrible things she has done. But perhaps Kristina of all people will help Ava on the road to redemption.

Kristina’s mental state could surely spiral in the coming weeks as a result of all the trauma she has been through. She might even attempt to take her own life.

It would be ironic if Ava was the one who was able to get Kristina to realize she still has plenty to live for. It may not absolve Ava of all her sins, but it would go a long way, especially in Sonny’s eyes.
