Katie Price has been left with a chilling premonition about her own demise after a psychic predicted she would pass away “peacefully” in her sleep.
The former glamour model, who has undergone numerous cosmetic surgeries over the years,
including a recent £10,000 facelift amid her bankruptcy woes, confessed her fears of not waking up from surgery-induced sleep.
Speaking to Greatest Hits Radio, Katie – who was recently warned about her love of going under the knife – recalled her encounter with a psychic in America:
“I remember when I was in America and I went and saw a lady with a crystal ball, you know, like a medium or clairvoyant or whatever they’re called.”
She asked the psychic a question most would shy away from: “And I said to her, ‘How do you think I’m going to die?
‘ I know not many people would ask that, but I did. She said ‘Oh, you’re going to die in your sleep peacefully,’ And then my sister said [during their podcast] ‘And you’re going for surgery, you’ll probably die in your sleep’.”
This revelation struck a nerve with Katie, leading her to speculate about the risks of her surgeries: “And that sort of triggered something in my head. And I was like ‘Do you know what? Imagine if that is because the amount of times I’ve been put to sleep and that’s stuck in my mind.’” She admitted the fear now lingers: “If I have surgery again, what if I do go in my sleep because you are asleep. And I think that’s connected something in my brain, I was saying that.”
The reality TV star, who was arrested upon her return from Turkey at London’s Heathrow Airport last month for skipping a July 30 hearing, was supposed to be grilled by barristers in a specialist bankruptcy court on Tuesday. However, her solicitor, Bertie Boer-Roberts, has pitched for her to have a “private interview” in September instead.
Boer-Roberts brought up her “mental well-being” as a reason for a closed-door session, pointing out that Katie has been under the harsh glare of media spotlight for ages, and an open court would only crank up the pressure while she’s dissecting her financial woes. Her legal eagle argued that a private setting would allow Katie to provide “more considered answers” and would help to “take stock of a complex matter with a long history.”
He also highlighted that Katie is clued-up about her responsibilities and has been playing ball with the proceedings thus far. Yet, Judge Nicholas Briggs wasn’t quick to give the nod, expressing his concern with “My concern is we’ve been here before”. After a pow-wow outside the courtroom, both Boer-Roberts and Darragh Connell, the barrister for the trustee, settled on Katie having a private chinwag on September 24, with a possible personal examination on February 11, if it’s called for.
The judge laid it on the line for the ex-Loose Women panelist: “If you fail to comply with the undertaking you will be at risk of being arrested.” Katie, who has faced bankruptcy twice, once in 2019 and again in March over an unpaid tax bill exceeding £750,000, lashed out at the press as she exited the London court. She furiously told reporters: “I hope you reporters write a good story today, won’t you, all the bull**** that you write, scumbags.”
Previously, Katie was instructed to hand over 40 per cent of her monthly OnlyFans income until February 2027 and surrender six of her vehicles to the trustee to contribute towards her debts.
