Emmerdale viewers are convinced Amelia Spencer is set for another baby storyline on the ITV soap amid her romance with Tom King, but they don’t think he’s the father
Some Emmerdale viewers are convinced a pregnancy twist will hit the village, as well as a paternity bombshell.
Amid Amelia Spencer’s new romance with villain Tom King, who is just using her to get to Belle Dingle, fans are speculating some baby news. Some theories suggest Amelia could be pregnant in a new storyline, ahead of Belle’s abuser Tom’s downfall.

But in a twist fans believe Amelia will learn she’s pregnant, and that Tom is not the father of her baby. While nothing has been confirmed by the soap regarding a new baby twist, some viewers believe it is on the cards amid Amelia backing Tom over Belle, who recently reported Tom to the police for domestic violence.
Just last week Amelia confirmed that amid her new romance she and Tom had not slept together, with her not currently planning to have sex with him. If Amelia is telling the truth then obviously if she was pregnant, Tom could not be the father of the child.
There has been no mention in episodes or spoilers of Amelia sleeping with anyone else or even a baby twist. But that hasn’t stopped viewers speculating she will uncover a pregnancy, and be forced to tell Tom someone else is the father.
Taking to social media, fans guessed drama head for Amelia, and that she may have slept with either her ex Noah Dingle or the father of her daughter Esther, Samson Dingle. So is Amelia set for a huge shock?

One fan asked: “Is Amelia pregnant again with Tom’s baby in Emmerdale?” Another fan said: “I think she’s going to be pregnant but it won’t be Tom’s,” as a third agreed: “Noah’s probably.”
Another comment read: “I read she pregnant but it’s not Tom’s.” A further post said: “Samson’s before he was put in prison,” as another fan said: “Don’t think it’s Tom’s could be Noah’s.”
But as we pointed out above, it’s not clear where this theory has come from. It doesn’t seem currently that there are any plans for Amelia to fall pregnant, never mind cheat on Tom.
As far as we are aware this is not a planned storyline, but given this is soap land after all it’s no surprising the theory is being predicted. That said, a number of fans were quick to rule it out, reminding fellow viewers that Tom and Amelia had not slept together.
A viewer said: “No they didn’t sleep together.” Another said: “They’ve not slept together.”
