Lydia Dingle is desperate to get the teen to see sense, but will she get through to her?
TOM King lures Amelia Spencer back in a horrifying new Emmerdale twist.
The villainous vet – played by James Chase – has cast his spell on Amelia in recent weeks, following his split from wife Belle Dingle.
Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has tried to reveal Tom’s abusive behaviour, even going to the police and revealing she acted in self defence when she attacked him with an axe as he was trying to kill her.
While the Dingles fully back Belle’s version of events, other villagers aren’t as sure, and Tom has managed to get 18-year-old Amelia (Daisy Campbell) to believe his lies about what happened.
Despite the drama around him and Belle, Amelia seems blind to the danger she could be in.
In upcoming Emmerdale scenes Tom and Amelia meet up at the cafe, and Amelia is thrilled when Tom organises to go on a date that evening.
Later, Tom and Amelia arrive at the Woolpack for their date, seemingly back on track.
The news won’t go down well with Lydia Dingle, after she tried to get the teen to see Tom for who he really is.
Sam and Lydia became worried about Amelia, who is the mother of Sam’s granddaughter Esther, after they had an argument about her relationship with Tom.
The pair felt at a loss to see Tom’s manipulation working on Amelia.
The next day, Amelia was left feeling guilty for having upset them and she gave Sam a photo of Esther to pass on to Samson (Sam Hall) in prison.
Lydia and Sam were left hopeful that things seem to be on the mend.
But as Lydia walked Amelia and Esther out of the Dingles, Amelia tried to convince Lydia she was wrong about Tom.
Tom publicly announced his relationship with Amelia several weeks ago in a bid to hurt his ex-wife, Belle.
Now that the truth has come about this abuse, Lydia and Sam are shocked to see Amelia standing by him.
Will they be able to get through to her now she’s got Tom by her side again?
