Long-suffering Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is facing a fresh nightmare in Emmerdale as her mental health takes a battering following more vulgar actions from abusive monster Tom King (James Chase).
She begins to spiral after discovering that Cain (Jeff Hordley) informed her late dad Zak (Steve Halliwell) about her ordeal, and she needs her dad more than ever.
Later, when the police then warn her that she will be arrested if she contacts Tom, she starts to spiral and worries deepen.
Elsewhere, another person panicking is Caleb Miligan (William Ash) as Ruby (Beth Cordingly) seems on the cusp of learning the truth about his betrayal.
But it’s another revelation that then knocks Ruby for six…

Monday October 21
Caleb’s on tenterhooks his secret will be exposed at the reading of Ruby’s mum, Helen. Ruby reacts in shock and horror to one of Fiona’s documents, and Caleb’s sure he’s been rumbled.
But Ruby’s world is quickly turned upside down when Helen’s will reveals that she was secretly in touch with Ruby’s daughter Steph before her death.

Isolated and vulnerable, Ruby tells Chas how she is grateful for Caleb providing her with a link to the close-knit Dingle clan when her own family is estranged.

Belle is deeply upset when Mandy inadvertently reveals Cain had told Zak about Tom’s abuse and Belle struggles they discussed it behind her back.
Tuesday October 22
Jimmy prepares to sign over the haulage to Caleb but will it all go to plan?
When a bunch of condolence flowers arrive without a note, Belle spirals, fearing it’s a taunting message from Tom.

Lydia and Sam are increasingly concerned for Belle who breaks the bail conditions when she confronts Tom. Belle bereft without her father’s wisdom.
Will’s conscience is pushed to the limit .
Wednesday October 23
Belle’s left reeling when DS Foy turns up to arrest her for breaking her bail conditions.
In the police interview room, she is floored by the bleak warning that if she contacts Tom again she’ll be going to prison. Once back home Belle presents outward calm as she secretly fights her demons.

Billy feels like a useless dad as he can’t fully provide for Dawn and the kids.
Soon, Mack’s shocked Billy’s boxing training is for another unlicensed fight.
Thursday October 24
Lydia is concerned Belle may not be coping. Soon we realise Belle’s head is full of a cacophony of voices but she is desperate to hear the one true voice of her dad’s calming tones.
It’s distressing for Sam and Lydia when they realise the extent of her mental anguish when they find Belle at her lowest point.

Billy’s left feeling like he’s letting the family down. Meanwhile Mack’s impressed that John’s impromptu coaching session has improved Billy’s defence.
Cain hears Moira has a new date for the operation to remove her brain tumour, however it quickly turns to worry over the tough journey ahead.
Soon Moira asks a big favour from Vanessa.
