Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) returned home in tonight’s Emmerdale, and Tom King (James Chase) wasn’t happy with what she had to say.
Prior to her visit to Scotland, Belle told Tom they weren’t getting back together after being subjected to months of physical and mental abuse.
While Belle has been away, Tom has grown irritated by her lack of communication and, unsurprisingly, has convinced himself they’ll be able to get back together.
After Belle messaged Tom and confirmed when she would be home, he took it upon himself to organise a homecoming present – a new car.
When Belle arrived in the village, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) was stood outside the new vehicle.
Belle immediately told her that she couldn’t accept the gift and went inside.
As she came downstairs with some washing, Belle was shocked to see Tom standing in the living room. He had some flowers and announced the door was open so he just let himself in.
Tom wanted to speak to Belle about getting back together but, to his shock, she didn’t want to listen.
Taking control of the situation, Belle told Tom that they shouldn’t speak to each other anymore because it’s important they move on.
Tom begged Belle but again, it wasn’t enough.
With that, he left Dale Head and left Belle alone, seemingly under the impression she was about to start the rest of her life and heal.
In the pub garden though, it was confirmed Tom had no intention of letting Belle go.
Watching his phone, we saw that Tom had installed security cameras in every single room in the house – including the bathroom.
That evening, as Belle slept with Piper by her side, a horrifying moment aired that featured Tom sitting in the living room of Dale Head, watching her sleep.
Poor Belle has got no idea – what’s next for her as Tom’s obsession spirals once more?
