Emmerdale is to delve even deeper into Belle Dingle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) ordeal at the hands of abusive husband Tom King (James Chase) by airing a special, format twisting episode.
After making fresh discoveries over how he is still tormenting her, Belle will be faced with multiple potential realities of where her life could go.
With Tom already lining up another victim, Belle’s emotions are heightened – but could this experience she endures in a hazed state lead to a breakthrough?
Meanwhile, Moira’s (Natalie J Robb) life continues to implode as her volatile behaviour confuses even herself.
And when she wrongly jumps to a conclusion relating to Cain (Jeff Hordley), she lashes out and headbutts a shocked Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).
Desperate to know what’s going on with his suffering wife, will Cain be able to help her as she falls apart?
Monday September 2
Satisfied his tormentor can only be Rose, determined Will decides to call the mystery number. Jimmy’s aghast at Will’s brazen approach as he seethes down the phone to ‘Rose’ and tells her to give it up.
Will sees a video of Rose in Ibiza and realises the phone didn’t ring with an international dial tone. He and Jimmy are baffled by who it could be, and Will is worried sick as to how his life could be ruined.
Nate admits to Mack that he’s been offered a job in Scotland and needs to decide by tomorrow. Nate’s torn over the decision.
Belle’s devastated to open her laptop and learn by email there will be no disclosure following her Clare’s Law Application. Watching from his cameras, delighted, Tom is vindicated and enjoying her distress.
Later Tom delivers a coded comment to Belle which alerts her to his knowledge of the results of her private email. He reminds her of some exposing photos he could release, and Belle freezes under the threat. She’s soon distraught to realise the password to access her photos has been changed
Tuesday September 3
Belle forms a plan to play Tom at his own game by stealing his tablet. Before long the tables have turned and Tom is confronted by her in the Woolpack.
Meanwhile, Amelia unwittingly reveals her and Tom are now in a relationship, mentioning it’s early days, but Belle and Lydia are both incredulous.
Will’s shocked when Jimmy shows him an email on the work account. Furious, he’s soon encouraged to go to the police by Jimmy after being faced with porn images with him and Rose’s faces on them.
Unwilling to expose his indiscretion to Kim, a further deep fake video on his phone leaves Will fearing that this is more than just a scare.
When Nate finally admits his news to Tracy, neither is willing to admit their feelings and Nate leaves covering his upset.
Wednesday September 4
Moira spots Cain and Ruby bantering, and a squeeze of the arm by Ruby leaves Moira’s anger bubbling up. Barging into Mill Cottage, Moira accuses Ruby of trying to sleep with Cain, confusing Ruby.
As Cain and Caleb arrive, Moira headbutts Ruby and has to be restrained by Cain.
Cain takes aggressive Moira away, and Caleb hopes his promise to sort it will appease furious Ruby. Confused by Moira’s actions back at Butlers, Cain demands to know what’s going on.
Realising she’s forgotten to go for her blood tests, which she seemingly now knows nothing about, Cain storms outside, leaving Moira confused and upset.
Tracy and Nate panic when they realise they don’t know where Frankie’s gone. Tracy decides it’s time to call the police…
Showing Jimmy his phone, grim Will reveals his tormentor has demanded ten grand to keep his secret.
Belle is terrified for Amelia’s safety and when Tom lets himself into Belle’s house with his own key, she tells him to leave Amelia alone.
Thursday September 5
After a run-in with Tom, Belle wanders into the village in a trance-like state and, in a special episode, she is taken through three separate scenarios which show potential future realities.
As everything hits home, how hard will a wake-up call hit Belle?
Friday September 6
Belle prepares for a new chapter after her experience, while fears continue to grow for Amelia.
Moira’s distress increases as her state of mind causes more problems, with Cain unsure of what to do.
Unable to ask John to stay, Aaron’s awkward to hear it’s his last day on the farm.
