Soap fans saw one character appear to be onto evil Tom King on Emmerdale after Thursday’s episode.
Tom upped his sick games as he continued to target wife Belle Dingle following her return to the village.
Despite her telling him she didn’t want to be with him anymore, Tom continued to pester her with messages and even bought her a car.
After letting himself into their home where Belle is staying, with him meant to have moved out, Belle was nervous as her abuser tried all the tricks to win her around,
and would not listen to her. After months of coercively controlling Belle and isolating her from her loved ones, Tom turned violent in a recent episode.
When Belle eventually left Tom and called time on their marriage, he lashed out yet again before Belle left to stay in Scotland.
Belle has not told her family the truth behind their split and that Tom has been abusive.
But it seems one of her relatives may know the truth, and may have figured it all out. There was a sickening twist on Thursday, as Tom was revealed to be spying on Belle once more.
He’d snuck into the house while she was away, and now it seems he’s set up cameras around the house, including in her bathroom and bedroom. In vile scenes, Tom was shown watching her from his phone at several moments, keeping tabs on her.
In one disturbing moment he was shown spying on her via the camera, seemingly while sitting in the lounge of her home. But Charity Dingle may finally have worked out Tom is the issue and is to blame for his split with Belle.
While Belle has said nothing, Charity appeared to realise he was “too good to be true”. She told her partner Mackenzie Boyd that she would be keeping her eye on him, sure something was not right, adding her “spidey senses were tingling”.
Viewers know that Charity is right to be concerned, and will no doubt be hopeful that she is finally onto him. So will this be the moment Tom is finally exposed, unaware someone has worked him out?
