General Hospital spoilers for Friday, August 23, focus on commiserating over tough times. Meanwhile, Dante turns to Chase, and Molly makes a vow.

Hurt and Comfort

Laura (Genie Francis) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) take the opportunity to commiserate. Both are going through rough times. Laura recently found out that her daughter may die. She has taken a turn for the worse — her liver is failing. Ultimately, she’ll need a new one. While we haven’t seen Elizabeth much lately, we know that she and Finn (Michael Easton) are dunzo. She has a kid off at college while another one is off to art school in Spain. It’s easy to see why Laura and Elizabeth turn to each other during this time. Maybe they’ll devise ways for each other to cope or find solutions to their problems, like tracking down Lucky (Jonathan Jackson — who’s returning to GH soon). This could help them both. He could provide part of his liver to his sister, and he and Liz could reconnect. Also, Aiden (Tristan Riggs) would love to see his dad, right?

Sante Situations

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) has a lot on his mind. There’s Kristina (Kate Mansi), of course, but the Lulu development has to shake even someone as solid as Dante. Though they weren’t together at the time Lulu went into a coma, this must bring up complicated thoughts and feelings. At the moment, he doesn’t feel he can share with Sam (Kelly Monaco). So he, instead, turns to his PCPD partner Chase (Josh Swickard). Speaking of Sam, she knows her sisters are in a world of turmoil, heartbreak, and conflict. So much conflict. But suddenly, she is taken aback. What causes her to have this reaction? (Find out about Parry Shen’s return to GH here)

Shaken and Very Stirred Up

Something tells us Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and her anger issues won’t let up anytime soon. After all, she now 100% knows that her sister Kristina planned to keep the baby after she gave birth to her. Expect Molly to make a vow. Does this vow concern Kristina, Ava (Maura West), or someone else?

Finally, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) feels a lot, and she feels hard. More importantly, she never holds back. She lets her people know what’s going on with her. So what has her rattled? And who does she turn to make sense of this unsettling emotion?

Laura and Elizabeth continued to lean on each other for support during their respective difficult times. Laura’s daughter’s health was deteriorating, and she was in desperate need of a liver transplant. Elizabeth, on the other hand, was dealing with the fallout of her breakup with Finn and adjusting to her children being away. The two women found solace in each other’s company, brainstorming potential solutions to their problems and even considering reaching out to Lucky for help.Meanwhile, Dante found himself grappling with his emotions following Lulu’s coma. While he couldn’t bring himself to confide in Sam, he turned to Chase for support. The situation was complicated by Kristina’s involvement, adding another layer of tension to Dante’s already heavy load.Molly, aware of Kristina’s secret plan to keep her baby, struggled with her anger and made a vow in response. The nature of this vow remained a mystery, leaving everyone wondering who it was directed towards – Kristina, Ava, or someone else entirely.Elsewhere, Lois Cerullo found herself overwhelmed by strong emotions and turned to a trusted confidant for guidance. Her openness and honesty in expressing her feelings set the stage for potential resolutions to her inner turmoil. As the characters continued to navigate their personal challenges, the drama and intrigue in Port Charles only seemed to intensify.
