Jennifer Lopez found herself in a tricky situation when it came to her exes, Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs and Ben Affleck.
The star, who is set to divorce Ben Affleck after two years, was previously linked with Diddy too. Prior to her reconnecting with Ben, she was asked a blunt question.
In 2014, while she was separated from both, J.Lo gave an insight into her true feelings.
Radio host Big Boy posed a hypothetical question to her: “You’re on a raft in the middle of the ocean and you look in the ocean, you see two people floating.
You can only pull up one because that’s how much room you have on the raft. You look in the ocean, you see Ben Affleck and you see Diddy.”
“I’d let both those m—-rf—–s drown! ” she retorted in the resurfaced interview.
Jennifer eventually tied the knot with Ben after they got back together, but their relationship took another downturn, leading to a divorce in August, reports the Mirror US.
As for Diddy, J. Lo and the rapper haven’t been spotted together in public for years. Diddy is currently facing multiple lawsuits, including accusations of rape and sexual assault. Moreover, his Miami and Los Angeles residences were searched by Homeland Security who stated they’re probing the musician for a possible alleged link to sex trafficking.
Diddy has refuted any misconduct in these cases, mounting a legal defence against some of the claims. The initial lawsuit was brought forward by Cassie Ventura in 2023, which Diddy settled within a day. Nonetheless, footage later emerged showing him assaulting Cassie in a hotel corridor.
In a candid video statement, Diddy admitted to his actions, stating: “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was fucked up – I hit rock bottom – but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
