The Riverdale actor also dived into this topic on his wife’s podcast, Let’s Talk Off Camera. Consuelos revealed that he hadn’t given much consideration to maintaining an intimate connection with Ripa, and it was only after meeting with a therapist that he realized his oversight. The Night Shift actor admitted:
“I’m going to blame it on the fact that I traveled so much, so a lot had to happen in the time that I was home.”
In a recent episode of their Live Show, Consuelos mentioned that the couple opts for hotel stays whenever they travel together. Further elaborating, the Missing actor explained that both he and Ripa politely decline “stay with us” offers, as they didn’t want people to know what goes on.

Mark Consuelos And Kelly Ripa also shared a rather awkward experience involving their daughter, Lola, who walked in on the couple during intimate moments – not just once, but twice. Ripa recounted the incidents on her podcast, Let’s Talk Off Camera.
Ripa detailed how the first incident occurred during a family trip to Italy and then again on Lola’s 16th birthday, eight years later. Ripa humorously recalled her daughter’s response the second time around, which was a mix of shock and dismay:
“Oh, my God, life is over. I used to see in color, and now everything is gray. How could you do this to me? What is wrong with you people?”
