Speaking in a video released on her YouTube channel on Thursday, Aug. 29, Hague, 25, opened up about her recent split from former fiancé Tommy Fury, 25.
On Aug. 14, the reality star and entrepreneur announced that she and Fury — who she met on the U.K.
version of Love Island in 2019 — had ended their relationship after five years and one year of engagement.
Introducing her vlog video, Hague revealed that she wasn’t going to share the details of her breakup.
“The last two weeks have been very, very real,” the star said. “It’s real life, something that we’ve been going through as privately as we can,
but obviously not privately whatsoever because I haven’t really been able to get away from it in the last couple of weeks.”
“And the last thing I want to do is come on here and fuel that more and just talk about it really because it’s just not my coping mechanism,” she added.
Hague revealed that she prefers to speak to her loved ones, while “pushing forward” on her public platform.
“I don’t really ever plan on talking about the past couple of weeks, it’s not something I feel comfortable with,” she continued. “Like I say, this is real life. It is not drama, it is not tea, it is not a publicity stunt, as much as I wish it was.”
Hague added that, “This is real life and very sad and it’s very deep.”
The mother of one, who shares 19-month-old daughter Bambi with her ex, also said that she wants to keep things private out of respect for Fury.
“It’s just not nice”, she said. “And I feel like everything over the last couple of weeks has really… it’s been a lot and been blown way out of proportion.”
Hague reiterated that she didn’t want to fan the flames of the rumors about her breakup.
“It’s all gotten a bit carried away with itself,” Hague continued. “And the last thing I want to do is be fueling that fire anymore and stirring the pot when it doesn’t need to be stirred.”
Ultimately, “I am really just looking forward to pressing on, moving on,” she concluded.
The Filter By Molly-Mae founder also said that she will always respect and have love for Fury.
“He is Bambi’s dad and I will always value him and respect him and obviously always have a lot of love for him,” the influencer told viewers. “We were together for five years and it is very, very sad.”
Meanwhile, Hague expressed her gratitude for her support system and online community before switching the video to her recent daily activities.
Speaking during her diary-style vlog, the beauty mogul revealed that she had booked herself a spa day after sitting at home “for so many days.”
She also stated that she feels that Bambi can sense “changes and things that are strange.”
After capturing more of her activities, Hague ended the video by saying she was trying “to find things to do” to fill her time.
“I’m kind of dreading this weekend because I feel like weekends are crap,” she said. “When you’re going through a breakup, I feel like weekends are literally the worst. Because weekends are always something for me that I really look forward to,” due to it being “family time.”
She then explained that she feels weekends are now the “hardest time” due to it feeling “lonely” and “sad,” adding that afternoons are the best time as she’s too occupied to think of her breakup as much.
Despite the challenging time, Hague revealed that she believes as time passes “it should be getting easier.”
